getting out of town
We're leaving today for a vacation in Venice. For the sake of my sanity, I'm not going to bring my laptop, and I'll try to resist the temptation to open a browser if I see an Internet-equipped computer. So there will be no posts here until June 19.

Have fun on vacation; once you get back, I thought you might be interested in this article about "The Progressive Trinity: Family, Business, Public Life" in the Washington Monthly. Worth checking out.

This blog is under attack from comment spammers, who are causing a problem for the server. I believe I can block them by upgrading to a recent version of MoveableType. However, I do not have time to do that until late December. Therefore, I have temporarily disabled comments. Please feel free to email me feedback at plevine@umd.edu.
